Enhanced Task Coloring in Gantt Chart / Timeline View
Matthew Lambert
Currently, in the Gantt chart (Timeline View), tasks are limited to three default colors: red for overdue tasks, grey for upcoming tasks, and dark grey for completed tasks. This makes it difficult to categorize and visually distinguish tasks based on priority, type, or project phase.
We would love to have the ability to apply custom colors to tasks, allowing the entire task box to be filled with a selected color. This would greatly improve visual organization, making it easier to identify different categories of tasks at a glance.
P.S ^ The tags options are there, But doesn't serves the purpose
This enhancement would provide greater flexibility and improve usability for teams managing complex projects with multiple task types.

In the timeline view, it should be possible to color the bars in the time chart in different colors. All bars are currently shown in the same color. Color differentiation would improve clarity.

We would like to have label color for whole task card & bar:
What? We would like to be able to color whole tasks with different colors. This color should also show on the bar in timeline.
Why? For better distinction and visibility.
How? When choosing task property label, let the whole task be colored and not just a small line on the left.

- EN translation: It'd be good to customize the color of the bar in the timeline. (Easy to understand by project )
